A romantic journey through the city of a thousand flowers — from morning foggy coffee to evening walks at the night market and admiring shimmering Da Lat by night.

Day 1 — Arrival & Exploring the Center

Morning: Foggy coffee & Da Lat market

After checking in, start the first day with a traditional phin filter coffee at a small roadside cafe. Morning in Da Lat around 7–8h is the most beautiful moment — fog still lingers over the old French roofs.

Stop by Da Lat Market (Ward 1) to enjoy grilled pork bread rolls, banh can, or the highland region's signature Hue beef noodle soup. The market opens early from 5h and is busiest before 9h.

Afternoon: Xuan Huong Lake & Flower Garden

Stroll around Xuan Huong Lake — the largest freshwater lake in the city center, surrounded by weeping willows and pine hills. Afternoon is the ideal time to rent a tandem bicycle and ride around the lake.

Evening: Da Lat night market

Da Lat night market (Ward 1 area, near the lake) is the place to enjoy local specialties: Vietnamese grilled rice paper, Da Lat soy milk, grilled sweet potatoes, and delicious fresh fruit. Strolling through the market at night with its bustling atmosphere and shimmering lights is an unmissable experience.

Day 2 — Nature & Waterfalls

Morning: Truc Lam Zen Monastery & Cable Car

Taking the cable car from Ward 3 down to Truc Lam Zen Monastery is one of the most exciting experiences in Da Lat. From the cable car, you can admire panoramic views of the city and the clear blue Tuyen Lam Lake below.

Afternoon: Datanla Waterfall & flower shop

Datanla Waterfall is about 5km from the center, located in Xuan Truong Commune. Cool water cascades down from the waterfall, and there are cable winches to the waterfall along with an exciting alpine coaster system.

Day 3 — Pine hill cafe & farewell

Morning: Nicholas of Bari Cathedral & city view cafe

Da Lat Cathedral (also known as the Cock Church) is the city's most distinctive French architectural symbol. Stop by a cafe with a view of the cathedral to drink a final coffee before leaving.
