If you are looking for a "standard Da Lat" breakfast to start your new day, Banh mi Xiu Mai 47 is a very worth-considering choice. The rich flavor together with the special sauce will certainly satisfy you.
Hello everyone, if you and I are leisurely looking for a heartwarming breakfast in the chilly atmosphere of Da Lat, banh mi xiu mai is definitely the first name that comes to mind. Today, we will dissect and review in detail a breakfast spot that has been attracting quite a few diners recently: Banh mi Xiu mai 47 (Ong Phu) Restaurant. From the practical perspective of someone who likes to experience and observe, here is a detailed review ranging from the space and menu to the taste of the dishes at the restaurant for you and me to consider. 1. Location and Restaurant Space (Exterior Recognition) Looking at the actual image of the restaurant's facade at , the first plus point is that the restaurant has a fairly easy-to-find location with the sign "Xiu mai 47 Ong Phu" made of prominent, modern LED lights. The restaurant is located right next to a large Bach Hoa Xanh supermarket, making it very easy for diners to locate when moving on the road. Sidewalk and parking area: As you can see in , the sidewalk in front is used as a parking place for customers' motorbikes. During peak morning hours, the line of parked vehicles is quite dense. The restaurant has a large glass cabinet displaying ingredients and a secondary pushcart selling cooling water, strawberry tea, and peach tea right at the facade. Stepping inside through the camera angle at , the restaurant space is designed with depth, using uniform dark wood tables and chairs, bringing a cozy and clean feeling. The dining tables are designed as long benches with small stool chairs, optimizing the area for family customer groups. On the wall, the restaurant decorates contrasting green patches and hangs a very large, clear menu board along with the Wi-Fi password for customers to conveniently use. 2. Diverse Menu – A Departure from Tradition The most special point of Xiu mai 47 lies in the menu. While traditional restaurants in Da Lat usually only have xiu mai bowls served with pork skin, here the menu is much richer to serve a diverse customer base, from adults to young children. Based on the menu board at , the restaurant divides into main groups: Banh mi dishes: From traditional xiu mai bowls, xiu mai with pork skin rolls, to variations like pate banh mi, beef banh mi, beef egg xiu mai, pepper sauce beef, assorted xiu mai... Beverages: Quite quality with oat soybean milk, black sesame soybean milk, machine-brewed coffee, yogurt, and cheese flan for children. 3. Food Taste Evaluation (Practical Experience) Let's look at a typical meal served on the table at , including a plate of sauce beef and a bowl of xiu mai onion soup served with banh mi. True to the style of eating xiu mai of Da Lat people. The broth retains its clarity, a clear sweet taste from simmered bones without abusing MSG or being greasy, very suitable for dipping hot and crispy pieces of banh mi in the morning. Beef Plate and Salad: helps balance the taste buds, reducing the greasy feeling of the meat. This dish has a modern style, like a plate of bo ne or pepper sauce beef decorated cleanly on a white ceramic plate. 4. Summary: Should You and I Visit This Restaurant? Big advantages: Clean, polite table and chair space, clear menu with prices and intuitive illustrations. Rich dishes, not only xiu mai but also beef and eggs, suitable for families with young children like the customer group because each person can choose a different breakfast taste. Central location, easy to find, right next to major amenities. Disadvantages to note: Because the restaurant is located right on the street and next to the supermarket, around 7h30 - 8h30 in the morning, the number of customers and vehicles coming in and out will be very crowded, the space can be a bit noisy and parking motorbikes is sometimes a bit cramped. The taste of the food follows a modern, clean, and diversified direction, so if you and I are people looking for a long-standing traditional xiu mai flavor, earthy, old-fashioned like the sidewalks of old Da Lat, this place may not touch that "nostalgic taste" right. General evaluation: 8/10. This is a safe, delicious, clean, and extremely worth-try breakfast spot for your and my journey when coming to Da Lat, especially when going in a group or family needing a comfortable, polite seating space. You and the aunt and uncle in the picture are waiting for the dishes to be served, looking at the golden crispy baskets of banh mi on the table makes you hungry. Do you want to drop by for a bowl of piping hot xiu mai full of onions here to recharge before continuing to take pictures?
Local spot, stumbled upon it by chance ✨ Richly seasoned, clean and airy seating, will return if visiting Da Lat
- The best shumai bread and stir-fried beef in Da Lat in my personal opinion - Cars park opposite the shop on the sidewalk inside the white line The shop is very crowded in the morning so you have to wait 1 moment to get food - The sausage and action meatballs are delicious, the stir-fried beef is tender with extremely delicious sauce. - The sesame milk drink is very delicious
📍The cafe is located on the main Hoang Dieu street, I stayed at a homestay nearby so whenever I passed by it was always crowded, so the next day I went early to try it. The cafe has quite a lot of parking space, cars can also park easily. The space of the cafe is moderate, the tables and chairs are neat and clean. 🥖 The food is quite diverse, the dipping sauce is not too bold but quite to my taste, there is soup served with it, the bread is still hot and crispy (not dense bread) Everyone should try green tea soy milk. 💁♂️ The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. Everyone should go early to avoid the crowds.
Very delicious and suits my taste, especially the creamy sauce part, and the accompanying sweet and sour sauce part is very unique, there are many choices on the menu depending on everyone's taste. The weekend is a bit crowded, everyone should come and try it
