If you are looking for a spot with a beautiful view to admire Trai Mat scenery and enjoy the chilly air of Da Lat, Cafe Panorama is a choice worth considering. The cafe offers a comfortable space and reasonable prices, making it very suitable for a visit in the late afternoon.
The cafe has a cloud hunting view, but I went right in the morning when there were no clouds, only fog. The layout inside the cafe is simple, nothing special. I took an open tour so I am not sure how much the entrance ticket to the cafe is. Apart from the view for cloud hunting and the tea hill wind power, for the view inside the cafe, I think anyone who wants to drink coffee and enjoy the scenery should go in the evening when the lights are on, which will be prettier. Sitting at the cafe during the day doesn't look pretty (in my personal opinion).
Although the cafe has existed for a very, very long time, every time I go to Da Lat, I take the opportunity to visit the cafe at 1 in the evening to enjoy the freezing flavor splashing in my face in Da Lat. Now, although there are many cafes in Xom Leo, I still really love Panorama Da Lat ❣️
Panorama is a cafe that I remember has been operating for a long time in the Thung Lung Den, Trai Mat area (seems to be one of the first cafes). The staff serve delicious hot drinks (ginger tea, coffee) and yogurt. The cafe has an open design, so I could enjoy the cool Da Lat sunset atmosphere.
The cafe has a extremely beautiful view, and the way there is not too far either. Going in the evening is prettier than during the day, everyone. The wind is breezy and the atmosphere will be colder by 1-3 degrees, so prepare a jacket to keep warm. Drink prices are super cheap, the cheapest compared to other hill view cafes ( only 25k ~50k ), hot cocoa here is also only 37k. The virtual living view is super fancy, not inferior to anywhere.
The cafe has a view looking out to Trai Mat. Located right at the corner of the turn as you enter the trail, so the view isn't quite the best. The cafe is quite chill, comfortable, and spacious with an upper area and a parking spot across the street. The coffee is aromatic, the chocolate flavor is not rich and is a bit bland, and the tiramisu cake is also not very outstanding. Compensating for that is a pretty nice view and an attic rooftop terrace upstairs to go up and take check-in photos. However, it's a bit small and quite ordinary. Overall, if you need to find a place to change the atmosphere or find a place to check in, Panorama Cafe could be a good choice for a change of scenery.
