The space and decoration of the cafe are like an old house with a garden, airy high ceiling design, and very beautiful, nostalgic large glass window frames. I appreciate and like this design. And please don't follow FOMO when watching social media like me. The cafe runs too much seeding, so it causes a very disappointing feeling for experiencing guests. Maybe I'm old so I'm fastidious. Because dinner was hotpot, but the hotpot wasn't good. The vinegar dipping compartment had no vinegar smell, was sweet and didn't have a bit of sourness; I asked for extra lime to get a sour taste. Compared to dipping ingredients of a few slices of frozen beef, meatballs like a fishball cart at the end of the alley, and few vegetables, the price is expensive. And the thing I was disappointed about, not only at this cafe but seemingly in all of Da Lat, because I arranged my itinerary to fully enjoy the trip as well as enjoy the food, so out of habit I would book a table 1 days in advance. However, it is different from Saigon because taking bookings here is to make sure there will be more guests visiting, not to arrange tables according to guests' exact requests. So if you are lucky to go when the restaurant is empty, you get a nice spot; if unlucky, you sit wherever is left by default. I called to reserve a spot in advance, but when I arrived, the staff took me straight upstairs with a terrible view, and looking at the array of gas stoves made me want to leave immediately. Pet friendly. So if you eat to check in, you can consider it, but for eating well and enjoying, then no.

I visited the cafe on 8/2. I called to reserve a table at 7h, and the cafe said they would hold it for 15 mins. When I arrived at 7:16, the staff member told me I was late so I had to wait. Since I was late, I had no complaints about waiting. However, the way the staff member spoke made me feel like I was being lectured for being late. After waiting for about 5 mins, I got a table. The next ordeal was the staircase. The steps were quite small, and wearing high heels, I almost missed my footing a few times. Once I sat down at the table, I waited for a very long time without anyone bringing a menu or checking on us. Later, I had to call over to ask for a menu before the staff brought one. At 7:30, the cafe was already out of flank and tendon. I saw on the internet that the menu had many dishes, but when I went, there were only a few basic items, and even those were sold out!?!?. Ordering rice vermicelli, they said they were out of that too. How can you eat beef dipped in vinegar without rice vermicelli? Then I ordered the dishes as pictured. Later, the staff brought out a plate of food that wasn't ours. I said we didn't order this, and the staff turned around and said I ordered set 1, so this dish was included in the set. I said I didn't order a set, and they raised their voice, "HUH SIS, you did order it," then showed me their ordering phone. I replied I didn't order a set, I ordered... then after checking again, they realized their mistake. It took about 15-20 mins for the food to come out. But what annoyed me was that our table's food was brought upstairs by the kitchen, but 2-3 servers didn't bring it to our table. They just wandered around while keeping the customers waiting? They brought out the hotpot and food but didn't bring dipping sauce. We had to ask for them to bring out 2 bowls of fermented fish sauce, and my friend's bowl even had rice vermicelli inside it? Did they bring leftover bowls from another table for the guests? Because our table hadn't even ordered rice vermicelli at that point. When I called the staff to ask, they carried it away, and then 2 staff members huddled together talking about the sauce bowl, making me feel even more certain they served recycled sauce to customers. After the sauce bowl issue came the rice vermicelli issue. When I ordered, they said they were out, so I ordered egg noodles, but they didn't bring those either. I had to remind them before they brought it out. When brought out, I noticed the next table still had rice vermicelli, so I asked why earlier when I ordered there was none, but now there is vermicelli over there. They replied that earlier it was out, and now they just got it back?!?!? After that, they exchanged my noodles for rice vermicelli. I was very dissatisfied with the service, but hoped the food would redeem it. Turns out it didn't. The beef in vinegar had no vinegar aroma and no sour taste. It tasted bland and unappetizing. The Sichuan hotpot wasn't aromatic and had no flavor. Just like plain water + chili oil + seasoning powder. There wasn't even anything to dip it in. Sichuan hotpot dipped in fermented fish sauce?????? The food is expensive. Going to Da Lat, ordering wrapping greens for 45k gets you just a few leaves of lettuce + perilla + mint. That's it. Rice paper for 10k gets about 10 pieces, both thin and small. The beef was acceptable, soft, and didn't get tough when cooked for a long time. The cheese tofu was new to me, a 2 type with little cheese taste, unlike the type I eat at home, yet 7 pieces cost 85k :))) Overall, my friend and I couldn't find a single positive thing about the cafe to praise. Cold and hungry, we wanted to eat hotpot, but after eating, we were deeply disappointed and annoyed. Pushing seeding so hard just to do business so carelessly. Not to mention the food is ridiculously expensive, yet look at how chipped the sweet sauce bowl is. With that much chipping, throw it away; who in their right mind serves that to customers? Instead of spending money booking seeding, the cafe should use it to replace chipped bowls and fix the staircase for customers, please. Overall, very terrible, should not go.

Đôi Đũa is the place I want to seek warmth every time Da Lat has light rain. Da Lat lately dropped to 14–15°C, in the evening I went out and suddenly there was a drizzle, so the cold soaked into my jacket. The two of us walked around looking for hot food, so we pulled into Quán Đôi Đũa to enjoy a belly-warming hotpot pot. Must say… it was such a right decision. 1/ Evening space & vibe - Although located right on the main street, I… overshot it, having to loop back to see it (the sign is not too prominent at night). But stepping inside, I liked it immediately: spacious area, high ceiling, warm, clean tables and chairs, feeling very comfortable to shelter from rain and cold. - Going as 2 people, each person spends about 300k/a full hotpot meal. 2/ 2-compartment hotpot, whichever flavor you choose warms your belly The staff will advise you to choose a 2-compartment hotpot :> and I agree, getting to try many flavors: - Vinegar dip → traditional flavor, easy to eat, warm, suitable for anyone who likes a familiar taste. - Eastern Medicine Herbal → clear broth, light, naturally sweet from stewed bones and herbs. 3/ Food quality: Fresh meat, filling portions. (However, my lover noted that if anyone is from the Western region and used to the style of beef hotpot dipped in vinegar, they will find this dish a bit strange compared to their taste) I looked online and it said they have home-style rice sets at lunch. I find the menu quite okay, some day I return I will try it to know another side of Đôi Đũa. 4/ Service & amenities - Enthusiastic, cute staff, fast food serving. - Has a security guard to watch bikes, comfortable parking space. I asked for an online menu, I attached pictures for everyone's convenient reference. 📍 Small note: Although on the main street, at night + rain it's easy to overshoot, anyone going for the first time remember to pay attention to the sign

The food is quite delicious. The restaurant is quite crowded if you go during peak hours. I arrived at 1h30, waited about 10 minutes, and many dishes were sold out.
