Mau Dich Grill Shop offers a unique culinary experience with a nostalgic space and richly seasoned grilled dishes. It is an interesting stop for those who want to discover the old flavor of Da Lat.
Stopping by Tiem Nuong Mau Dich is spot on for an evening in Da Lat. The space here is imbued with the subsidized era, rustic and nostalgic, you can feel the unique character right as you step in. I highly appreciate how the cafe keeps the ancient soul without being cheesy. Quick review: Food: Richly marinated, fresh meat grilled over fragrant charcoal. Served with Da Lat fresh vegetables, it goes really well together and is great with drinks. Atmosphere: In the cold of 15°C, sitting by a sizzling fire is the best. This vibe is extremely suitable for sipping and chatting. Service: Quick, decisive, and doesn't keep guests waiting long even though the cafe is often crowded. Cost: Fair and reasonable price compared to the quality and experience received. Overall, this place is worth every penny. If you like quality BBQ in a tasteful space, just drop by here without second thoughts. You must book in advance for the cafe, if you don't book there will be no seats
The seating is quite close and there are many tables, so it is difficult to move around or be comfortable if there are many guests coming in and out, easy to bump into each other! The service staff are fast, handling things well, ✨💯 The grill seasoning is rich, depending on taste, personally I find it fine The fruit juice is mixed quite sour 😆 but with support I was still able to drink the whole glass

This cafe has nothing to complain about anymore. Just one sentence: well worth trying, everyone. Delicious Plenty of food in the serving Very reasonable prices Neat, beautiful, clean, tasteful decor, antiques Good staff, good food, reserve tables via automatic SMS, so if everyone calls the phone number on Google Maps and can't reach, it will automatically default to 1 SMS message received right after you call.
Pros: plenty of food, neat arrangement, quite large portions (I went with 2 people). Cons: Beef was chewy, shrimp was not fresh, dipping sauce was average, didn't pair well with the meat. Grill paper replacement was slow. Service: felt like the staff are young and not trained carefully, or even if trained, they are teenagers so they don't listen to the manager. Slow ordering, slow response, didn't observe customers continuously to change the paper for us. When the manager reminded them, they shifted responsibility to each other, pushing the work to 1 friend while the rest of the group sat around laughing, talking, and smoking, very noisy (this was around after 10 o'clock, almost closing time). 10h30 shop closes and I felt uncomfortable because I wasn't done eating, but they were fooling around and made me feel like I had to finish in a hurry. Overall, first time at the place I found it beautiful, but eating inside felt uncomfortable so I won't return.
Dining at Nuong Mau Dich Da Lat is the kind of experience where "once you eat, you remember it forever" 😄 The grilled beef is richly marinated and smells incredibly fragrant when grilled, perfect when eaten with fresh greens. The absolute best is still the shrimp paste fried rice: the rice grains are loose, the shrimp paste flavor is just right, and it gets more addictive with every bite. A big plus is the restaurant's space decorated in a 70–80s vintage vibe, from the tables and chairs to the tiny items that look very nostalgic; sitting down to eat feels just like "time traveling," super chill. The place isn't overly fancy but cozy, with quick service. Prices are reasonable for the quality; going with a group of friends and ordering a few dishes will fill your belly without hurting your wallet. Anyone visiting Da Lat who wants good food and an interesting space should definitely stop by!
