The BBQ restaurant has a spacious and comfortable space, very suitable for gathering with friends or family. The food is seasoned to taste, the grilled dishes are quite delicious, the meat is fresh and served at a good pace. Prices are also reasonable compared to the general level in Da Lat, so eating in a large group is quite comfortable. What I like most is the feeling of sitting and eating BBQ in the chilly weather of Da Lat, while eating and admiring the view of the greenhouse lights coming on in the evening, which is very chill and relaxing. The space is clean, neat, and still pleasant even if you sit for a long time. The staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and assists customers quite quickly. In particular, the parking guard is also very cute and cheerful, creating a comfortable feeling right from entering the restaurant. Overall, it is an experience well worth trying when visiting Da Lat, offering both good food and a beautiful atmosphere to enjoy.
Waited 10 mins for staff to arrange a table, with a very large crowd of customers, but the servers were very good. The combo for 2 people + drinks was under 500k, the food was seasoned just right, got extra beef as a gift, ate forever and couldn't finish 🥹

Regarding table reservations, I contacted the cafe to book a table and set an arrival time, but since I booked 1 days in advance, I couldn't estimate the exact time and set it from 18h-19h. Then at 18h30, I texted the cafe saying I was on my way and would arrive in about 30' more. The cafe replied that after 19h, they might change the table depending on the situation, so our group rushed over, afraid of losing a nice spot. However, looking at the map, I selected the route for motorbikes, which led us onto a railway track path; fortunately, a local guy guided us out to the main road for safety, and luckily we arrived right on time—a rushed dining experience. In my opinion, if you book a table, give yourself a bit more 1 time to be safer, and if you go through Xom Leo, you should set the navigation route for cars instead. As for the food, our group ordered a 1 combo for 2 people, 1 vinaigrette salad, 2 bamboo-tube rice, and a 1 large tomyum hotpot. The food suited our taste and was very delicious. At first, the combo looked a bit small, but when 4 people ate, we felt the food was high quality and relatively filling. The combo came with vegetables and dipping sauces, but the staff only brought the dipping sauce when asked, which was probably just a minor oversight. As for the hotpot, I also found it tasty and suited to my taste. Eating hotpot and grilled food in Da Lat's cold weather is truly top-tier. The only issue was that the hotpot took quite a long time to boil, showing just how cold it was at the spot. Later, I asked the staff to take the hotpot inside to cook it thoroughly before bringing it back out for us. The bamboo-tube rice was very tasty, sticky, and fragrant. The staff were very cute and enthusiastic. Our group of 4 people spent about 250k per person, which is super ok for a 1 fancy space. I will definitely come back next time.
10 points with no buts. - Food: every dish was delicious, especially the cafe's signature beef dish, which was very tender and tasty. The cafe prepares the grilling charcoal very professionally; the charcoal is well-burnt so it grills slowly, produces little smoke, and doesn't burn the food. - The view is wonderful and quiet; even though the cafe was very crowded, sitting there still felt very private and easy to talk in (you should book a table in advance to get a table with a nice view and avoid waiting) - The car parking lot is extremely spacious. - The staff served quickly and gave enthusiastic guidance - Reasonable prices for such a 1 beautiful view and good food quality
Tiem Nuong Xom Leo BBQ is already super famous among the homies who often go to Da Lat. My girlfriend and I have known about the cafe for a long time, but not until this trip were we curious enough to try it. The restaurant is located in the Xom Leo area; on the way in, a whole bunch of places all display signs with the name Xom Leo, so you have to use Google Maps navigation plus look closely at the signboards to get into the right place. Parking is opposite the restaurant. Sharing some experience for you guys when eating at this restaurant, you should call and book a table in advance. When booking a table you will be asked to make a deposit in advance (quite a lot, but I don't remember clearly, I think around 250k or something). At this part I was a bit displeased, though the day I arrived the restaurant wasn't too crowded, mainly because I wanted to hold a table right by the railing to have a valley view, so I gritted my teeth and transferred the deposit anyway. But thinking back, since the restaurant is famous, it can be forgiven. Once inside the restaurant, because we had a reserved table, the seating position and view were beyond discussion. As the mist settles hazily while sitting next to a piping hot BBQ stove, the sizzling sound of grilled meat, the rich aroma and smoke rising up, with the mist-shrouded valley below and the cool air of the city as afternoon falls, it is truly unbeatable. We were even gifted the bonus specialty sound of the Trai Mat train horn and the yellowish train headlight in the mist. A rare experience that I think you guys should try. Regarding the food, to my taste, it's actually not much different from other BBQ restaurants, from Saigon up to Da Lat. But the flavor can be said to be at a decent level, well-marinated, not too salty. The experience when coming here is that you should only order 1 full combo portion of the restaurant, which has everything from vegetables to pork, beef, chicken, and octopus. If you order more, it will be a bit too much for the appetite of 2 people. Regarding service, I found the service quite prompt. However, because the space is large and requires going up and down stairs, the staff force might be a bit lacking during peak crowded hours. In addition, since it is an outdoor BBQ restaurant without exhaust fans like indoor places, the smoke depends a bit on fate =))) whichever side it blows toward, that side gets the smoke and smell. This is just luck, but the lingering smell is pretty strong. The restroom is a rather makeshift corrugated iron shelter. It's clean at an average level, but whether it's clean or not also depends on the awareness of guests using the restroom, so I'll just review it like that.
