Cafe Tùng is an icon of Da Lat with a signature coffee flavor and irresistibly delicious cakes. Although the space is somewhat small and sometimes a bit cramped, the cafe still retains a cozy feel and is a familiar meeting place for many generations.

A fairly famous cafe that many friends have reviewed on social media. My girlfriend and I went to the shop early in the morning when it just opened, but there were already a few guests sitting inside. As soon as we stepped in, we immediately felt the unique vibe of the shop. You feel like you've wandered back to a cafe from the 1960s, with old square tile floors, tables and chairs tinted by time, nostalgic phin filter cups, and gentle French music melodies weaving through a space that is neither bright nor dark. 🍵About drinks: a cafe will naturally highlight its coffee. We both ordered hot milk coffee. Here, if you want to experience the old-fashioned phin brewing feeling, you must order hot, although the shop also has iced coffee options. The coffee taste is strong and blends on the tip of the tongue. Besides coffee, you shouldn't miss the cheese yogurt and flan. The desserts both impressed us: not too sweet at all, the yogurt is moderately sweet with the fat of the blended cheese, the flan is not pitted, smooth, without a fishy smell, especially very creamy, accompanied by caramel that is not burnt bitter, just right mild sweet. Characteristically, the flan is contained in a tin box (idk), very pretty, neat, and hygienic. 💁♂️About service, the staff members are very quick. I was particularly impressed that they communicate in English quite fluently, because at the time we sat at the shop, a few foreign guests who knew about it also came, and they all supported them very effectively. 🧻About hygiene: this is a downside of the shop. The restroom is not yet clean and dry, and the smell is not good. Meanwhile, the kitchen area is located right opposite it. Overall, the shop's drinks are not really too different compared to other famous cafes. However, the overall experience at the shop, I rate as a very Da Lat vibe experience, quite worth visiting once 👌

For many tourists, Tung cafe is probably a symbol of Da Lat. It still must be recognized that drinking coffee here has its own unique quality, to me it is really delicious.
The cafe is located in Hoa Binh area, near Da Lat market. Cozy atmosphere, a bit tight, recommend everyone try the Flan and Tiramisu, they are delicious ♥️🔥
☕️ [Tung Cafe - Hoa Binh Area, Da Lat] A small cafe open for a very long time and quite famous, park your bike on the front porch. 🪟Small tables with cushioned chairs, table spacing is quite close, dim yellow light, smoking is allowed so I had to move to another table because the next table had someone smoking. There is no order counter, just go in, sit down, and someone will bring the menu for you to order and pay. 🥛 I visited the cafe in the late afternoon so I ordered soy milk (25k/glass), the cafe's milk is pre-sweetened with sugar, a bit unfortunate because my family doesn't like sweet stuff, but the milk cooked with pandan leaves is quite fragrant, large glass with a moderately liquid texture, not too thick. (There is a hot tea pot served for free by the cafe) 🍮 Flan cake (25k): less sweet, more milky fragrance than egg fishiness so it's not cloying, giving me a bit of a feeling like eating panna cotta blended with coffee below, eaten very quickly :)) ❗️When leaving, I forgot my jacket at the cafe, the next evening I returned and they had picked it up and kept it for me, thank you very much to the cafe. ▪️Overall, the cafe is suitable for sitting to chill for a while during the day or stopping by when strolling around Hoa Binh Area. If I have the chance next time, I will try their coffee and crab cake.
