Hoang Hon BBQ Shop is an attractive choice for those who want to enjoy delicious grilled food while taking in the romantic panoramic view of Da Lat from above. However, you should be prepared to wait and check the cleanliness of the restroom area.
Regarding the space, the shop is a bit above budget 1. Dirty toilet. The cafe has parking for cars and motorbikes. Regarding the food, average, neither delicious nor bad. The cafe has few staff, so dishes take long to arrive and service is also a bit slow. Regarding the staff, you guys are enthusiastic and friendly. -Saturday, 28/02/2026-
Delicious food. Beautiful location on the hilltop. Anyone who loves enjoying the scenery and chilling while eating will find it ok. Enjoy the outdoor space. There is parking space for cars
My family went on a weekend and it was quite crowded, but the staff were quite enthusiastic. The food was tasty, the dipping sauce gets 10 points
Really disappointed with my experience today I'm just a tourist, I came to the restaurant for the 2 time because the food suited my taste very well. The 1 time and the 2 time were both very delicious, sometimes the thing that holds us back is indeed the food. But alongside this positive point, there were quite a few disappointing aspects from the waitstaff, which made my experience not very happy. 1. The issue of getting plates from the server: Mostly when I called the server to get plates there was always an issue, if they didn't take dirty plates they got the quantity wrong. Furthermore, when I asked for 2 plates they gave 1, I reminded them to ask for 1 more plate and they told me to use the plate currently holding the paper spoons. My husband said we needed that utensil to eat rice, then they "reluctantly" went to get 1 more plate. 2. Food issue, this is a food service issue. The 1 time I didn't have this problem, but the 2 time I was really frustrated. I ordered other dishes and they all came out normally, except for the grilled chitterlings dish which I waited forever and didn't see. I called the staff 2 times and they kept saying yes yes, until a while later they ran over to inform me that they didn't have that dish today. I was really angry and questioned why they didn't say so from the beginning, because I asked her to bring that dish up to 2 times and she didn't respond about the dish at all. They blamed each other saying the kitchen didn't inform them so the staff didn't know, not a word of apology or anything else, just saying they didn't know anything. Really frustrated about this issue, because as staff today what dishes are served they don't even know, blaming back and forth and in the end the customer suffers. (P/S: The staff sent me a photo of the menu without that dish during Tet and I came to the restaurant on the 5 day. However, when I sat at the table, it was the staff who handwrote that dish onto the order ticket so I ordered it, yet in the end it amounted to nothing 😇) In general I will never return, the first time doing business service also had many issues but I thought because it was crowded it was hard for you to be complete, the food was also delicious so I came back the 2 time, but after this 2 return time I am truly disappointed and nothing can save it further. Whether it's crowded or not, I find the waitstaff department still very bad. If the owners read my review, you should reconsider the waitstaff before your restaurant continuously loses customers due to elementary mistakes like this. Respectfully!!
View: 10/10. Airy view, outdoors, catching the cold dew. Looking down at the greenhouses, 4 broken is a nice view. It's cold at night, sitting outdoors means shivering while chewing meat. Food: 7/10. Pork belly is tough. Seasoning is average. Overall the food is average, but since my teeth are also weak, I found the meat tough :( Motorbike parking: there is space, the security guard is cute and enthusiastic. I went with 2 people, the total bill came to 666k, I don't remember specifically how many dishes were ordered but I remember it was >4 dishes. Completely full.
