Suối Bình Yên offers a relaxing, quiet space just like its name suggests, making it very suitable for you to temporarily put aside the hustle and enjoy peaceful moments by the stream. However, you should prepare yourself in advance regarding the quality of food, drinks, and service to have a more complete experience!
Cafe and grilling restaurant with a beautiful, romantic space, dining tables placed along the stream are very chill. The grounds are spacious with many beautiful ornamental flowers. Entrance ticket for 1 peaceful stream area 120K includes 1 glass of drink, buy an additional ticket for the apricot forest area for another 30K, plus a skewer. The grilled chicken platter (as pictured) costs 1.899.000đ You can bathe in the stream, but few guests do. A quite interesting destination in Da Lat
The spot is very beautiful, suitable for taking photos. Beautiful stream, many landscapes, very well invested. But the drinks are made carelessly just to have them, drinks taste terrible. Few staff, service is quite poor! And a sincere suggestion to the Tourist Area regarding service, it is very crowded with guests but there is not a single coordination or guide/warning staff member anywhere. It is crowded without anyone on duty, some guests fell and scraped their feet and didn't know who to ask for a bandage. The stream has a lot of rocks, slippery bridges, and many children so it is quite unsafe, there should be more staff standing on duty at the bridges to coordinate guests, avoid crowding, and keep children away from the stream. Food is quite delicious, chicken platter is ok to eat. You should visit when coming to Da Lat, but families with young children should be careful, because crowded guests push each other and crossing the bridge is dangerous.
My family went on the weekend, the tourist area was quite crowded, built along the stream, the ticket price includes the sightseeing fee and a drink. In addition, there are food combos to order so you can eat while watching the stream flow, which is quite chill, and the prices are acceptable. As for snacks, there are grilled skewers, grilled beef in betel leaves..., which taste okay. Also, the day I went, there were 1 guys singing acoustic music, not sure if it was a program organized by the tourist area or spontaneous, but it was quite chill to listen to.
True to its name, Suối Bình Yên (often known as a picnic and camping area set by a natural stream in the suburbs of Da Lat) is a fully relaxing quiet note amidst the hustle and bustle of life. Nestled under green pine canopies and a small gently flowing stream, this place offers a pristine, fresh space where the sound of city traffic horns is completely replaced by the sound of wind through the forest and the murmuring of running water. If you are used to elaborately staged landscape cafes, Suối Bình Yên will bring a completely different feel with its rustic, natural simplicity. The space here mainly makes use of the lush green lawn along the stream, beanbag chairs, small wooden huts, or glamping tents set up next to cobblestone banks. This is not just a place for check-ins, but an ideal spot for you to truly 'disconnect', sit back and relax reading a book, sip a hot cup of tea, listen to acoustic music, or host a BBQ party with friends by the stream in the characteristic chill of the misty land.
First, you have to buy an entrance ticket. The ticket price includes a drink and a snack (cake or grilled meat). The grilled meat is two skewered and grilled pieces, but it tastes quite bad, and so does the cake. Inside there are a few stalls selling hotpot, grilled chicken, grilled meat, cakes… We were 3 people and stopped by to support the grilled chicken stall. A chicken set has one chicken weighing about 1kg with 2 bamboo-cooked sticky rice tubes, priced at 479k; it tasted okay, nothing special. Regarding seating, guests find their own preferred spots to sit; the staff here is quite sparse. The table I picked previously had guests eating hotpot, chicken, and porridge, so it was very dirty. I asked staff to clean it, but they just passed the job from one person to another; after asking about 5-7 people, someone finally came to clean it for me. Overall, an experience to try once to know it, but there won't be a second time.
