Villa d’Hiver is a lovely destination in Da Lat, where you can enjoy delicious coffee and take unique souvenir photos. This place has a very distinct, cute atmosphere, perfectly suited to the chilly air of the city of a thousand flowers.
The cafe is very cute Delicious coffee Take photos to your heart's content
We booked the homestay directly with the owner. This place combines a cafe with room rentals in a villa. I went in the middle of month 6. The young owner is pretty and very enthusiastic. I went on the weekend; the homestay supported me in contacting a bike rental, but because the weekend price was not very good, she helped me with her bike right away 😳. The space is very well cared for, those who don't book a room and just come to drink coffee are also fine because there are many photo angles - vibe is like Nhâm SG but mixed with a slightly more French vibe (so remember to ask for less sweet). - Regarding location: right in the center, near Xuan Huong lake, Vinaphone tower, Ku Boc chicken rice, a bit further is still convenient to go to Langbiang farm, Mang Lin hill... so if you book a room to stay, wandering around is very convenient. - Prices: drinks are ~50 coin/ person, rooms are reasonable compared to room quality. (I booked room 102, my room was spacious, had toilet heating (love it so much for Da Lat cold at night), a bathtub and a standing shower area, spacious room, couples or small groups of friends are all fine because there is a large bed and 1 extra bed) Hope the owner does well, next time if we have the chance we will visit kkk
Calling this place a villa isn't quite right, calling it a homestay isn't quite right, and hotel isn't quite right either. But whatever you call it, this place still has its own very distinct, very cute vibe that suits the Da Lat atmosphere quite well. I stayed on Sunday night, so most of the other tourists had already returned to Saigon. As a result, the whole area was very quiet, airy, and felt like having more private space than usual. The overall concept of Villa d'Hiver is good, with a tasteful layout that creates a chill and relaxing feel. If the interior and some finishing details were taken care of a bit more meticulously, I think this place would be truly outstanding. I don't know about other rooms, but the room I booked had up to 3 beds, spacious area, very comfortable for a small family to stay. It doesn't feel cramped like many other places in Da Lat. There is a private BBQ area in the back. I think this area would be suitable for groups of friends or large families renting the whole place. However, personally, I feel the BBQ area is still a bit out of sync with the overall architecture; if it were invested in and cared for a bit more, the experience would be more complete. The coffee is quite delicious. The biggest plus is that the staff is extremely enthusiastic, friendly, and cute. That very cuteness made my vacation much more comfortable. A suitable place for small groups and couples.
