Da Phu Hill

Da Phu Hill is truly a beautiful raw gem of Da Lat! I had a camping trip 1 myself here in month 11 year 2023, and even now, the memories of the scenery here are still completely intact. What impressed me most about Da Phu is its pristine nature and absolute quiet space. Month 11 is a wonderful time, the characteristic chilly weather combined with the vast pine forest creates an extremely romantic natural picture. At night, curling up in a tent amidst the rustling pine trees, looking at the valley of sparkling lights in the distance and enjoying the peace alone is a truly priceless experience, helping me completely push aside the noise and pressure of daily life. The specialty of this hill is definitely the sunrise scenery and the sea of clouds. Waking up early in the morning, you just need to unzip the tent to take in a valley of floating clouds under the brilliant morning sunlight filtering through each pine leaf. Although the road up the hill has a few steep red-dirt sections that are a bit challenging, the scenery you get at the top of the hill is completely worth it. The campsite area on top is also quite flat and spacious, ideal for setting up camp. If you are a nature lover, want to find a place to escape the hustle and bustle, or want to challenge yourself with a true solo cloud-hunting camping trip, Da Phu Hill is a perfect choice. However, there is 1 thing, which is hearing that occasionally there are robbers up here, so anyone camping overnight should go in large groups. A small note is that everyone should remember to clean up garbage before leaving to preserve the natural beauty of the hill!

A suitable place for self-sufficient picnic and camping activities, the driving direction up is a bit steep, everyone should be careful especially when going in the rainy season.

Park your bike down below and walk up a bit... driving up is dangerous.. if it rains, you lose, but the view is beautiful

Quiet and spacious space, very suitable for sightseeing and relaxing. From the hill you can look out over the panoramic view of the mountains and forests, especially beautiful in the early morning or late afternoon sunset. The tall rows of pine trees create a very chill feeling, walking among the trees is extremely pleasant. Not too crowded like other tourist spots, so I found it quite “chill” and close to nature. Very suitable for sitting and enjoying the view, taking photos, or simply breathing in the fresh air.

I walked the path next to Da Phu Hotel, which is quite steep; I recommend that inexperienced drivers should not take this road. In return, the view on the hill is very beautiful. If you go by motorbike, you can go 3,4 more to the distant hilltop, which is very chill. I went near sunset, so it was even more beautiful; sunrise is probably even better.
